In this video I talk about how everyday digital tools – from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and your smartphone – can be used to help generate active communities; and how everyone can harness these technologies and platforms to be a more active digital citizen.
Case Studies featured in this presentation include the Cairo based social network Nassya, Doha News, the Centre for Community Journalism, Meerkat and Periscope.
