Following on from my recent article for the National Media Museum and their publication, Archive, this weekend I will be in Bradford taking part in the inaugral MediaFest; a festival looking at contemportary issues.
Here’s a bit more about the event (click the image to make it more legible!):
I’m currently slated to do two sessions:
11:00 – 12:00 – Tune In…Radio Realised
“This session will provide an insight into how radio output has changed over the past 25 years and how it will continue to do so over the next 25.”
Speakers:
Iain Baird – Curator of Television – National Media Museum
Matt Deegan – Folder Media
and, er, me. Damian Radcliffe – Manager English Regions, Ofcom
16:30 – 17:30 – Future of the Media?
“In the final session of the day, speakers from throughout the day will look forward to the future of the media industry and make predictions about where the industry is heading.”
Speakers:
Kathryn Blacker – National Media Museum (Chair)
Ed Baker – Wordia.Com
Damian Radcliffe – Manager English Regions, Ofcom
Dr Ben Roberts – Bradford University
